CMHO Raigarh Lab Technician Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), Raigarh is hiring Lab Technicians to run the TrueNat testing sites in Raigarh district. TrueNat machines give quick molecular test results for tuberculosis, and these posts support the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. The jobs are funded through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) money from companies, not from the regular health budget, so this is a one-year contract engagement.

The TrueNat sites are at the District Hospital Raigarh, the Community Health Centres at Pusaur, Loing, Gharghoda and Lailunga, and the Civil Hospital Dharamjaigarh. If you already have lab experience under the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) or in sputum smear microscopy, you get preference. Graduates with higher qualifications are also preferred.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Council registration: You must hold a live registration with the relevant council, taken before this advertisement was issued.
• Post count can change: The number of posts is not fixed. If more CSR funding is approved, the office may hire for other health centres in the blocks too.
• Reservation: The district reservation roster applies. Only caste and residence certificates issued by a competent authority are accepted.
• Contract term: The contract runs for one year. It is extended only if CSR funding is approved for the next year, and it can end early if regular recruitment fills the posts.
• Rules followed: Selection and engagement follow the NHM Chhattisgarh Human Resource Policy 2018.
• Fixed pay only: You get a fixed monthly amount; no other allowance or facility is paid.
• Notice period: To resign you must give one month's notice or pay one month's salary. The office can also end your service with one month's notice or pay.
• Non-transferable: The post cannot be transferred. If you do not join at the posted site on time, your appointment ends automatically.
• COVID service bonus: If you worked at least six months in a Chhattisgarh government health facility during the COVID pandemic, you get 10 bonus marks under the state order dated 3 February 2023. Attach the six-month certificate.
• Past dismissals: If NHM or any government department removed you for indiscipline, financial irregularity or misconduct, you cannot apply.
• No travel allowance: You pay your own travel and stay for the walk-in.
• Disputes: Any legal dispute falls under the District Court, Raigarh.

Application Submission Notes

There is no online form. Fill the prescribed application format attached to the notice (handwritten or typed), paste your photo, self-attest all copies, and hand it in yourself at the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Bhagwanpur Road, Raigarh on the walk-in day. Registration runs only in the morning window from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

The eligible and ineligible lists, the claims-and-objections result and the written test list are pasted on the office notice board the same day. No one is informed personally, so stay at the venue and check the board. After objections are settled, you cannot add any new qualification document.
