ICAR-CMFRI Young Professional-I Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CMFRI), Veraval Regional Station, Gujarat has released notification No. F.No.2-66/2023/VRL dated 24 June 2026. The posts are under the project Seaweed farming feasibility assessment and exploration of promotional activities along Indo-Pak border marine creeks Kori and Padala including other selected locations at Kutch Coast, Gujarat. The project is funded by the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Department of Fisheries, Government of India, and the role is temporary up to March 2027 or until the project, funds or requirement ends.

Project and Work Location

The selected Young Professionals will work at need-based project operation sites for smooth field implementation. The notice specifically mentions Kori and Padala marine creeks and other selected locations along the Kutch Coast, Gujarat. This is a field-linked research support role, so you should be ready for site visits, coastal field work and project documentation.

This is not a desk-only role. You may support seaweed farming trials, field coordination, sample handling and reporting work in coastal conditions. Because the project covers border marine creeks and selected Kutch Coast locations, keep your travel readiness, identity documents and field-safety preparation aligned with CMFRI instructions. It also helps if you can organise field notes daily and coordinate updates with the Veraval project team after each site visit.
