Service Conditions and Caveats

• Engagement: The position is offered on a contract basis, so it should not be read as a regular state-government appointment.
• Work base: Each TAQA will work from the assigned divisional office and support the higher education institutions linked to that office.
• Institutional coverage: The assignment can involve universities, autonomous and affiliated colleges, teacher-education institutions and physical-education institutions seeking accreditation support.
• College review: Visits may cover infrastructure, institutional documents, cultural activity, teacher-development programmes, seminars, journals, research work and record-keeping practices. The role also includes discussing formats that colleges can use for inspection records.
• Coordination: Regular contact is expected with AD, HEIs, SPD and the Directorate, alongside day-to-day operational support at the AD office.
• Travel and reporting: Official travel is covered under government TA/DA norms, and the relevant AD, principal or nodal officer checks the time involvement and travel bills. A monthly progress report must record the issues encountered during the assignment.
