The Chandigarh Child & Women Development Corporation Limited (CCWDC), a Chandigarh Administration undertaking that works under the Social Welfare Department, Chandigarh Administration, has invited applications for 1 Junior Occupational Therapist post. The posting is at the Rehabilitation Centre for Special Children (RCSC)-Prayaas, which supports children with special needs. This is a contract appointment, and candidates from both the degree and diploma routes can apply. Fresh B.Sc Occupational Therapy graduates as well as Diploma in Developmental Therapy holders with relevant field experience are encouraged to send in their application.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Sc in Occupational Therapy, OR Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, OR Diploma in Developmental Therapy with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Posts available: 1 post of Junior Occupational Therapist.

Note: The 3-year experience condition applies to candidates applying through the Diploma in Developmental Therapy route.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 37 years old at the time of application.

Salary

• The selected candidate will get Rs. 31,982 per month, the DC (contract) rate fixed by the Chandigarh Administration for the year 2026-27.
• This rate is revised from time to time as per government orders.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Document / Resume Screening: Your resume, application form, and testimonials will be checked against the eligibility criteria.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The date will be intimated later to eligible candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
