Combat Aircraft Systems Development and Integration Centre (CASDIC), part of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), is offering paid internships at Bengaluru. The centre develops electronic warfare systems for the Indian Air Force. This programme gives students a fixed period of project exposure within a defence research setting.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The internship lasts six months. The completion certificate is issued only after the full period, successful project evaluation, a project report and the required formalities.
• Attendance: You must be present at the laboratory for at least 15 working days each month to qualify for the stipend. Your college must support the attendance arrangement.
• Living expenses: You must meet your own boarding and lodging costs. The centre will not reimburse these expenses, so factor them into your plans for staying in Bengaluru.
• Leaving early: The notice says that students who leave before completing the internship will receive neither a completion certificate nor payment.
• Conduct: You must follow the centre’s guidelines during the internship. Disciplinary violations can lead to termination of the engagement.
• Future employment: CASDIC and DRDO have no obligation to offer you a job after the internship.
