DIPR ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Overview

Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), part of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence, is offering ITI apprenticeship training at Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Training term: All listed trades have a 12-month apprenticeship after the applicable ITI rebate. The training period cannot be extended.
• Apprenticeship agreement: The institute and apprentice will complete the contract online through the NAPS apprenticeship portal under the applicable apprenticeship rules.
• Training status: The notice treats you as a trainee. Labour-law coverage is subject to the exceptions provided under the Apprentices Act.
• After training: Completing the apprenticeship gives you no right to a regular DIPR job. The institute has no obligation to offer employment after the training ends.
• Living arrangements: DIPR does not provide government quarters, hostel accommodation or transport during training. You need to account for these arrangements yourself.
• Completion assessment: Your assessment results and attendance will be recorded on the apprenticeship portal. The results will support issue of the National Apprenticeship Certificate, where applicable.
• Communication: DIPR will send correspondence and offers by email. Keep your email account active and check it regularly so you do not miss an update.
• Accuracy: Incomplete, misleading or unreadable application information may lead to rejection. Concealing facts or trying to influence the process can also end your candidature.
• Institute’s discretion: DIPR may change the intake according to its needs or cancel the recruitment process. Any related dispute falls under the competent courts in Delhi.
