BPCL is hiring 250 Junior Executive, Secretary, and Associate Executive posts across engineering, accounts, quality assurance, and other functions. If you have a Diploma or Graduate degree with 3–5 years of work experience, you can apply online before 17 May 2026. Age limit is up to 32 or 35 years depending on the post (as on 01 April 2026). Who Can Apply?

Junior Executive (Engineering) — 175 Posts

  • Qualification: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Civil / Chemical Engineering with minimum 55% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognised university
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of continuous post-qualification relevant work experience (including minimum 1 year in a managerial/supervisory role) in petroleum/oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, manufacturing, or related industries
  • You must currently be employed in a managerial/supervisory role

Junior Executive (Accounts) — 25 Posts

  • Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (minimum 55%, relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) AND CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) passed. Note: Candidates who have cleared the CA/CMA Final examination are NOT eligible.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Finance / Accounts / Taxation / Cost Accounting / Auditing
  • Experience counted only after the date of CA(Inter)/CMA(Inter) result declaration

Junior Executive (Wayside Amenities) — 10 Posts

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in B.Com / BBA / B.Sc / BMS / BHM with minimum 55% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Diploma/Certification in Retail, Hospitality, or related field is desirable
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in Facility Management / QSR / Food & Beverage Chains / Retail Store Operations / Hospitality Management / Hotel Management / Mall facility management

Secretary, BPCL — 8 Posts

  • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (3-year course) with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) AND Class XII with minimum 55% AND Class X with minimum 55%. Diploma/Certification in Secretarial Practice / PA / Executive Assistant / Office Management of at least 6 months is desirable
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as Secretarial Assistant / Secretary or similar roles

Associate Executive (Quality Assurance) — 30 Posts

  • Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry) with specialisation in Chemistry / Organic / Physical / Inorganic / Analytical / Polymer Chemistry with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 55% for SC/ST/PwBD). No allied disciplines allowed
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification relevant work experience in laboratory in Petroleum / Oil & Gas / Petro-Chemical / any chemical industry

Associate Executive (Official Language Implementation) — 2 Posts

  • Qualification: Master's degree in Hindi (2-year course) with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Must have studied English as a subject in Class XII or Graduation with minimum 55%
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience in translation work (English to Hindi and vice versa). Should be fully conversant with the Official Language policy of the Government of India

Age Limit

Age is calculated as on 01 April 2026:

  • Junior Executive (Engineering): Upper age limit 32 years
  • Junior Executive (Accounts): Minimum 30 years, upper limit 35 years
  • Junior Executive (Wayside Amenities): Upper age limit 32 years
  • Secretary, BPCL: Upper age limit 32 years
  • Associate Executive (Quality Assurance): Upper age limit 35 years
  • Associate Executive (Official Language): Upper age limit 35 years
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST — 5 years; OBC-NCL — 3 years; PwBD — 10 years; Ex-Servicemen — 5 years
  • Cumulative age relaxation is capped at a maximum of 10 years in all cases
  • No relaxation in the minimum age limit is applicable for Junior Executive (Accounts)

Salary

  • Junior Executive & Secretary: Pay scale Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 1,20,000 per month. Approximate CTC at minimum of pay scale: Rs. 12.28 Lakhs per annum
  • Associate Executive: Pay scale Rs. 40,000 – Rs. 1,40,000 per month. Approximate CTC at minimum of pay scale: Rs. 17.11 Lakhs per annum
  • You will also get DA (based on IDA pattern), HRA (based on city of posting), Perks & Allowances, Retirement Benefits, and Performance Related Pay as per BPCL policy
  • Selected candidates will be inducted at the minimum of the pay scale. CTC is calculated for candidates posted in metro cities and may vary for other locations
  • One year probation period from date of joining (extendable if performance is not satisfactory)

Selection Process

The selection is a multi-stage process. The exact stages used will depend on the number of applications received for each profile:

Responsibilities

  • Handle operations, maintenance, or project activities in petroleum/oil & gas, refinery, or related facilities as assigned
  • Assist in day-to-day technical, financial, or administrative functions depending on your post and department
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and records as required by supervisors and management
  • Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and company policies at work sites
  • Work in shift duties when required, including at depots, terminals, or retail fuel stations
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth functioning
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities within your area of responsibility
  • Assist senior executives in planning, monitoring, and reporting on departmental targets and KPIs
