BMCRI Project Technical Support-III Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Bengaluru Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), an autonomous institution under Government of Karnataka, has released notification number BMCRI/Project/49/2025-2026 dated 22 April 2026. The post is funded under the MIGRATED-ICMR research project and is open to graduates in relevant life sciences fields. This is a single-post recruitment, so competition will be specific to candidates with the right Microbiology / MLT / Biotechnology background.

Who Can Apply?

• Education option 1: Three years Graduate in relevant subject or field. Desirable: three years experience of PG in relevant subject or field.
• Education option 2: B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) / Biotechnology / Any other life sciences.
• The relevant subject is Microbiology (since the project is in the Microbiology Department).
• Knowledge of Kannada language helps with day-to-day work in Karnataka.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years.
• Standard age relaxation rules of Government of Karnataka apply for reserved categories.

Salary

• Basic pay: Rs. 28,000 per month.
• HRA: 30% of basic = Rs. 8,400 per month.
• Total monthly salary: Rs. 36,400 per month.
• The position is purely contractual under the ICMR-funded MIGRATED project.
