Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) Project Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

BFUHS, Faridkot has released a notification (Advertisement No. 18/GGSMCH/18) for one Project Staff Nurse post under an ICMR-funded research project titled "Comparison of Dopamine, Epinephrine and Norepinephrine in the Treatment of Neonatal Septic Shock - A Randomized Controlled Trial (DENSE Trial)". This is a purely temporary contract post based in the Department of Pediatrics at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital. The job is tied to the research project and can run up to a maximum of three years, subject to your performance and the availability of funds. If you have neonatal or pediatric nursing experience, this is a strong opportunity to work on an important clinical trial.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) certificate.
• Registration: You must be registered with a Central or State Medical/Nursing Council.
• Language: You should have studied Punjabi up to Matriculation (Class 10) level.
• Desirable: Neonatal and/or Pediatric Nursing experience will give you an added advantage.

Age Limit

• Your maximum age should be 30 years as on 15 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC and OBC candidates get age relaxation as per Punjab Government rules.

Salary

• You will get a salary of Rs. 22,000 per month (Rs. 20,000 basic plus 10% HRA).
• The appointment is for three months at first. It can then be extended every three months up to the end of the project (maximum 36 months), based on your performance and available funds.
• Half a month's salary will be kept as a security deposit for the first two months of your appointment.

Application Fee

• General Category: Rs. 1,770 (Rs. 1,500 fee + Rs. 270 GST at 18%).
• SC Category: Rs. 885 (Rs. 750 fee + Rs. 135 GST at 18%).
• Payment mode: Demand Draft in favour of The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, payable at Faridkot. The fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Document Verification: You must reach the Principal Office by 9:00 AM on the interview day with all your original documents.
2. Written Test: A written test will be held as part of the recruitment process.
3. Walk-in Interview: The interview will be held on 15 July 2026 at 10:00 AM at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
