BEML Limited, under the Ministry of Defence, is hiring executives for its product innovation, engine and rolling-stock operations. Post-wise Duties

Chief General Manager — Innovation

You will guide the technology roadmap, prototype development and certification work. The role also covers research publications and protection of new designs through intellectual property filings.

Chief General Manager — Manufacturing

You will lead rail coach production, project execution and manufacturing improvements. Safety, quality systems and delivery against customer schedules form part of the work.

General Manager — Business Development

You will track metro opportunities, build business forecasts and coordinate bids. Partnerships, customer feedback and market development are also part of the role.

Deputy General Manager — Engine Design

You will lead diesel engine development, component evaluation and vehicle integration. You will coordinate engineers, suppliers and other departments to resolve design issues.

Deputy General Manager — Engine Testing

You will coordinate testing and calibration programmes, plan development activities and address product problems. The work includes managing competing priorities across teams.

Assistant General Manager — Projects

You will act as a client interface, track execution and manage contract changes. Coordination spans design, procurement, manufacturing, quality and testing.

Assistant Manager — Bogie

You will develop bogie designs and drawings, prepare technical specifications and support testing. Safety certification and manufacturing documentation also feature in the work.

Assistant Manager — Brakes

You will design air supply and brake systems, prepare layouts and support integration with the train. You will also coordinate customer approvals and validation.

Engineer — Doors

You will develop rail vehicle doors, drawings and operating documents. Supplier coordination and analysis of failures and hazards support train-level integration.

Engineer — Crash Simulation

You will build crash simulation models, analyse results and recommend design changes. Technical reports and passive-safety specifications form part of your output.
