Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), under the Ministry of Railways, is building a panel of retired staff for its Ahmedabad Unit. Posts and Disciplines

• Mechanical: The Ahmedabad requirement draws on experience in the open-line Carriage and Wagon cadre. The advertised groups include executive and junior executive clusters.
• Operations and Business Development (OP&BD): This department has openings across junior executive and executive clusters, including the higher E2-E4 group.
• Signal and Telecommunication (S&T): An addendum brings this department into the Ahmedabad panel, covering E0-E1 and N5-N7 clusters.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Deployment: DFCCIL will use the panel according to its administrative and operational needs. Your empanelment and your actual deployment are separate decisions.
• Initial tenure: Re-employment begins for one year. Any extension depends on the company's needs, your performance and DFCCIL's decision.
• Early exit: Either side can end the arrangement with one month's notice. Keep this condition in mind when planning commitments around the engagement.
• Regular appointment: This engagement gives you no right to regularisation in DFCCIL. It remains a re-employment arrangement under the company's HR policy.
• Leave: You earn two days of leave for each completed contract month. Unused leave cannot move into the next calendar year, and it does not carry separate casual-leave or earned-leave labels.
• Previous DFCCIL service: Former staff whose DFCCIL engagement was terminated, or whose re-employment extension was refused, will not be considered for this interview.
• Service record: The notice excludes specified vigilance and disciplinary cases. These include current vigilance or CBI cases, major penalties, and the combinations of minor penalties and administrative action set out in the advertisement.
• Travel arrangements: DFCCIL will not reimburse your travel, stay or journey expenses for attending the interview. You need to make those arrangements yourself.
• Disputes: Any dispute linked to this re-employment advertisement falls under the courts in Delhi.
