Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Medical Division, has invited applications for 10 medical specialist posts on a part-time basis at BARC Hospital, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. The recruitment covers General Physician, Ophthalmologist, Neonatologist, Radiologist, Anaesthetist, Neurologist, and Dermatologist positions. Selection is through a walk-in interview only — there is no written exam. PG-qualified medical professionals with 1 to 16 years of experience can apply.

• General Physician (SO/D): 2 posts — 2 days/week, 3 hours/day
• Ophthalmologist (SO/D): 1 post — 6 days/week, 4 hours/day
• Neonatologist (SO/E): 1 post — 1 day/week, 3 hours/day
• Radiologist (SO/D): 2 posts — 6 days/week, 4 hours/day
• Anaesthetist (SO/D): 1 post — 3 days/week, 4 hours/day
• Neurologist (SO/F): 1 post — 2 days/week, 3 hours/day
• Dermatologist (SO/D): 2 posts — 3 days/week, 3 hours/day

Who Can Apply?

General Physician (Rs. 22,984/month)

• Qualification: M.D./DNB in General Medicine or Speciality with 1 to 4 years of experience after MD/DNB

Ophthalmologist (Rs. 91,936/month)

• Qualification: MS/MD/DNB (Ophthalmology) from an MCI-recognised institute with 1 to 4 years of experience

Neonatologist (Rs. 13,793/month)

• Qualification: DM/DNB (Neonatologist) with 4 to 10 years of experience

Radiologist (Rs. 91,936/month)

• Qualification: MD/DNB or equivalent in Radiodiagnosis from a recognised University with 1 to 4 years of experience

Anaesthetist (Rs. 45,968/month)

• Qualification: MD/DNB Anaesthesia with 1 year experience or DA Anaesthesia with 2 years experience

Neurologist (Rs. 40,040/month)

• Qualification: DM/DNB (Neurology) with 10 to 16 years of experience

Dermatologist (Rs. 34,476/month)

• Qualification: MD/DNB in Dermatology from an MCI-recognised institute with 1 to 4 years of experience

Higher qualification and experience is not a debarment.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 25 years
• Maximum age: 70 years (as on the date of advertisement)
• For Radiologist (Sr. No. 4): preferably not more than 59 years

Salary

• General Physician: Rs. 22,984 per month (Rs. 884/hour)
• Ophthalmologist: Rs. 91,936 per month (Rs. 884/hour)
• Neonatologist: Rs. 13,793 per month (Rs. 1,061/hour)
• Radiologist: Rs. 91,936 per month (Rs. 884/hour)
• Anaesthetist: Rs. 45,968 per month (Rs. 884/hour)
• Neurologist: Rs. 40,040 per month (Rs. 1,540/hour)
• Dermatologist: Rs. 34,476 per month (Rs. 884/hour)
• Engagement period: 2 years on part-time basis

Selection Process

Selection is based on walk-in interview after preliminary screening:

1. Preliminary Screening: Done at the discretion of the Selection Committee. If response is high, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of highest percentage in MBBS.
2. Walk-in Interview: Conducted at Conference Room No. II, BARC Hospital, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai.

Important: Report at 08:30 hours. Candidates reporting after 09:30 hours will not be entertained.

3. Attach attested Xerox copies and originals of date of birth proof, educational certificates (Class X, XII, MBBS, PG year-wise mark sheets, degree, passing and internship certificates), registration certificate, and experience certificate.
4. Attach one passport size self-photograph.
5. Attend the walk-in interview at Ground Floor Conference Room No. 1, BARC Hospital, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 400094 on the scheduled date.
6. Report at 08:30 hours sharp.

• Provide specialist medical care to patients at BARC Hospital, Anushaktinagar
• Conduct OPD consultations and in-patient care as per the assigned schedule
• Perform diagnostic procedures and clinical investigations in your speciality
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient case files
• Coordinate with other specialists and the medical team for patient management
• Follow BARC Hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and DAE medical standards
• Participate in clinical meetings and continuing medical education sessions
