Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), one of India's premier nuclear research institutions under the Department of Atomic Energy, is looking for qualified professionals at its 390-bed multi-specialty hospital in Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. BARC Hospital is recognised by the National Board of Examinations for DNB programmes in multiple specialties. Both positions are on Locum/Adhoc basis — the Hospital Administrator role is for 178 days (not more than 89 days at a time), and the Dental Technician role is for up to 89 days at one time. Who Can Apply?

For Hospital Administrator:

• Qualification: You need MBBS or BDS from a recognised university, plus a Post Graduate Degree or PG Diploma (minimum 1 year) in Hospital Administration, Hospital Management, or Hospital and Health Care Management from a recognised university.
• Experience: You must have 3 years of experience after completing your PG degree or diploma. Out of these 3 years, at least 2 years must be as a Hospital Administrator in a hospital with a minimum of 100-bed capacity.

For Dental Technician:

• Qualification: You need HSC (Science stream) plus a 2-Year Diploma in Dental Technician (Mechanics) recognised by the Dental Council of India.
• Experience: Experience in the field is preferred but not mandatory. Basic computer knowledge is also preferable.

Age Limit

• Hospital Administrator: Not more than 65 years
• Dental Technician: Not more than 50 years

Salary

• Hospital Administrator: Consolidated payment of Rs. 45,098 per month plus DA at prevailing rate (pre-revised). Net pay in hand approximately Rs. 1,20,000 per month.
• Dental Technician: Monthly amount of Rs. 11,730 plus DA (pre-revised). Total approximately Rs. 25,000 per month.

Selection Process

Selection for both posts will be through walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Your certificates and documents will be checked before the interview.
2. Interview: A personal interview will be conducted by the selection committee.

For Hospital Administrator: If more than 10 candidates appear, shortlisting for interview will be based on the highest percentage obtained in MBBS. The decision of the selection committee is final and binding.

• Manage day-to-day administrative operations of the hospital
• Coordinate between medical departments to ensure smooth patient flow
• Prepare and maintain hospital records, reports, and compliance documentation
• Handle procurement of medical supplies and equipment
• Monitor hospital staff attendance, duty rosters, and leave management
• Assist in budget planning and financial administration of the hospital
• Fabricate and repair dental prosthetics including dentures, crowns, and bridges (Dental Technician)
• Maintain dental laboratory equipment and follow infection control protocols
