Atal Residential School Gambhirvan, Azamgarh needs PGT and TGT Guest Faculty for its residential-school programme in the 2026-27 academic session. The engagement is a stop-gap teaching arrangement managed through the district-level committee, not a regular appointment. You should be comfortable teaching in both Hindi and English and taking an active role in residential-school life beyond classroom periods.

Posts and Disciplines

• PGT Mathematics, Economics and Sociology: senior-secondary teaching in the relevant subject, with the subject also studied at graduation level.
• PGT Commerce: commerce teaching for senior classes; the notification specifically links this role to a Master of Commerce background.
• PGT Computer Science: senior computing instruction for candidates from computer science, information technology or MCA backgrounds.

Post-wise Duties

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Temporary panel: selection creates a merit panel for urgent engagement and does not provide a claim to a permanent teaching post.
• Residential duties: work may include House Master or House Mistress responsibility, MOD duty, CCA, clubs, Scout and Guide, and NCC activities.
• Preference: the open-quota process may give preference to suitable women candidates while balancing the residential staff.
• Tenure: the arrangement is for the 2026-27 academic session and can run only up to 31 March 2027.
