Who Can Apply?

Stockman, Fishery Demonstrator (Class 12 Science):

  • Class XII (Science) passed from a recognized Board/Institute. Fishery Demonstrator additionally needs Biology as one of the subjects.

Agriculture Field Assistant (Jr):

  • Class XII (Science) passed from a recognized Board/Institution.

Field Assistant:

  • Class XII passed with Mathematics/Geography, OR Class XII (any subject) with a Survey course from a Government-recognized ITI.

Data Entry Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Lower Division Clerk (Typing Posts):

  • Class XII passed from a recognized Board/Institution.
  • Typing speed of 35 words per minute on computer.
  • Minimum 6-month Diploma in Computer Application from an AICTE/Arunachal Pradesh Council for Technical Education recognized institute.
  • LDC posts under the Directorate of Sainik Welfare cum Rajya Sainik Board require you to be an Ex-Servicemen with at least 10 years of service, preferably as a Clerk.

Laboratory Assistant:

  • Essential: AISSCE/Class XII (Science) passed.
  • Desirable: Diploma in Laboratory Technology.

Record Keeper/Record Clerk:

  • Class XII pass or equivalent, plus a 1-year Diploma in Computer Application.

Age Limit

  • 18 to 28 years: Record Keeper/Record Clerk.
  • 18 to 32 years: Agriculture Field Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and most Lower Division Clerk posts.
  • 18 to 35 years: Field Assistant, Fishery Demonstrator, Laboratory Assistant, and Stockman.
  • 18 to 40 years: LDC posts under the Directorate of Sainik Welfare cum Rajya Sainik Board, for Ex-Servicemen (after deducting 3 years of military service from actual age).
  • Age Relaxation: Available for APST and PwD candidates as per Government of Arunachal Pradesh rules. Age is reckoned as on the closing date of application, 10 August 2026.

Salary

  • Level-4 posts (Stockman, LDC, Agriculture Field Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Record Keeper): Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month.
  • Fishery Demonstrator (Level-2): Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month.
  • Field Assistant (Level-1): Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 per month.
  • You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Government of Arunachal Pradesh rules.

  • APST candidates: Rs. 150 (non-refundable)
  • Unreserved/other candidates: Rs. 200 (non-refundable)

Selection Process

Selection happens in up to 2 stages depending on the post:

  1. Stage I - Written Exam (Objective MCQ): 100 questions for 200 marks in 2 hours, covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, and English Language & Comprehension (25 questions/50 marks each). There is no negative marking and no sectional cut-off - you just need 33% or more aggregate marks to qualify. This stage is mandatory for all 9 post codes.
  2. Stage II - Skill Test (Typing): Only for Data Entry Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Lower Division Clerk posts. This stage is qualifying in nature only and does not add to your merit score.
  3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates, mark sheets and other documents.
