CAU Project Coordinator Recruitment 2026: Overview

Central Agricultural University, Imphal (CAU Imphal) is hiring a Project Coordinator for its College of Horticulture & Forestry in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. The post belongs to the Department of Post-Harvest Management and supports the Empowering Youth for Undertaking Value Added Innovative Translational Research Centre (E-YUVA), funded by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC). Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project contract: The engagement starts with six months. An extension depends on satisfactory performance, project needs and funding, and can run up to three years or the project's completion, whichever comes first.
• Regular employment: This project appointment gives you no claim to a regular position at CAU or BIRAC. The engagement ends with the project.
• Supervision: You will work under the Principal Investigator and follow the applicable university directions, including the Registrar's order cited in the notice.
• Performance: The notice allows the university to end the engagement without advance intimation if your performance is unsatisfactory.
• Interview arrangements: Shortlisted applicants will receive the schedule by email. The university may ask you to attend in person or online, so follow the mode communicated to you.
• Attendance costs: You must meet your own travel and daily expenses for the interview. Failure to report or join on time can lead to disqualification.

• Help mentor E-YUVA and Innovation Fellows in product and technology research.

• Help entrepreneurs prepare proposals and support incubation and technology transfer.
• Carry out outreach and encourage applicants to participate in centre activities.
• Prepare technical and financial reports and other project records.
