All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Nagpur has released a notification for 3 project positions under an ICMR-funded project titled "Capacity Building for Managing Healthcare-Associated Infection Outbreaks in Tertiary and Secondary Care Hospitals across India" in the Department of Community Medicine. The project runs for 6 months and all the posts are purely temporary. Who Can Apply?

For Project Research Scientist-I (Rs. 67,200/month):

• First Class Postgraduate degree (including an integrated PG) in Public Health, Life Sciences, or Community Medicine, OR a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline with similar project experience.

For Project Nurse-I (Rs. 33,600/month):

• Minimum Second Class or equivalent CGPA in a four-year Nursing Course.

For Project Technical Support-II (Rs. 24,000/month):

• 12th pass in Science with a Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Engineering) and 5 years of relevant experience, OR a 3-year graduate degree in a relevant subject with 2 years of relevant experience.

Age Limit

• The age limit is up to 35 years for Project Research Scientist-I and Project Nurse-I.
• The age limit is up to 30 years for Project Technical Support-II.

Salary

• Project Research Scientist-I: Consolidated salary of Rs. 67,200 per month (including 20% HRA).
• Project Nurse-I: Consolidated salary of Rs. 33,600 per month (including 20% HRA).
• Project Technical Support-II: Consolidated salary of Rs. 24,000 per month (including 20% HRA).
• The salary may vary from time to time. No allowance or facility other than the consolidated salary will be given.

Selection Process

The selection happens in up to 2 stages:

1. Written Screening Test: Conducted only if AIIMS Nagpur receives too many applications.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The date, time, and venue will be shared by email.

• Support the ICMR project on preventing healthcare-associated infection outbreaks across partner hospitals
• Collect, verify, and analyze project data related to infection outbreaks
• Coordinate with hospital staff, doctors, and the Principal Investigator on study activities
• Prepare project reports, presentations, and documentation as required
• Assist with laboratory sample collection, testing, and record-keeping (Technical Support role)
• Provide nursing care and support during patient-related project activities (Nurse role)
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, outcomes, and correspondence
• Follow AIIMS Nagpur guidelines and project protocols at all times
