AIIMS Mangalagiri PRaCTISe-HR Clinical Trial Project Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri has released a notice for 3 project posts under an ICMR-funded research study called "PRaCTISe-HR" — a multi-centric clinical trial that studies shorter, high-dose treatment regimens for drug-sensitive pulmonary TB patients. The project runs under the Department of Community Medicine and needs a doctor, a field investigator, and a lab technician to handle patient recruitment, data collection, and lab testing. These are purely contractual positions tied to the project's duration. Each post is initially for one year, extendable based on how the project progresses, and selected candidates will not have any claim to a permanent AIIMS post once the project or their tenure ends. The PRaCTISe-HR trial is a multi-centric, parallel-arm randomized study comparing 4-month and 6-month high-dose Rifampicin regimens, with or without Levofloxacin, to find shorter and more effective treatment options for drug-sensitive pulmonary TB. Your work on this project will directly support ICMR's effort to reduce TB treatment time for patients across India, and you will be part of a small, focused research team based at AIIMS Mangalagiri.

Who Can Apply?

Project Research Scientist – I (Medical) - Rs. 67,000/month:

• You need an MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Desirable: prior experience in research projects/clinical trials, local language fluency, and an MD in Community Medicine or Pharmacology.

Project Technical Support – II (Field Investigator) - Rs. 20,000/month:

• You need a graduate degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or Medico-Social Work (or an equivalent field) along with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Desirable: prior research/clinical trial experience and local language fluency.

Project Technical Support – II (Lab Technician) - Rs. 20,000/month:

• You need 12th in Science + a Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Engineering) with 5 years of relevant experience, OR a 3-year graduate degree in a relevant subject with 2 years of experience.
• Desirable: prior research/clinical trial experience and local language fluency.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 35 years for the Project Research Scientist (Medical) post and 30 years for both Technical Support posts, as on the date of interview (11 August 2026).
• Age Relaxation: the upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Project Research Scientist – I (Medical): Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA as admissible.
• Project Technical Support – II (Field Investigator / Lab Technician): Rs. 20,000 per month + HRA.
• This is a consolidated salary — no other allowance or facility will be given beyond this amount.

Selection Process

Selection for all 3 posts will be done through:

1. Written Test (only if a large number of candidates apply)
2. Walk-in Interview and Document Verification on 11 August 2026 (Tuesday) at the Ground Floor, Admin Block, AIIMS Mangalagiri, starting 8:30 AM. Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be allowed to register.

Note: this is a walk-in process — there is no separate call letter or admit card.
