Who Can Apply?

You must be a serving officer in the Central/State/UT Government, a university, a statutory or autonomous body, a PSU, or an R&D organisation, holding an analogous post.

Medical Superintendent (Level 14)

  • A medical qualification listed in the I or II schedule (or Part-II of the third schedule) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • A postgraduate qualification (MD/MS or equivalent) OR M.H.A (Masters in Hospital Administration) or an equivalent PG degree.
  • 10 years of experience in Hospital Administration in a senior position after the PG degree, preferably in hospitals with 300+ beds.

Superintending Engineer (Level 13)

  • Holding an analogous post, OR an Executive Engineer with 5 years of regular service in grade pay Rs. 7,600, OR 10 years of regular service in grade pay Rs. 6,600.

Registrar (Level 12)

  • A graduate of a recognised university with 7 years of administrative experience in a supervisory capacity or as a teacher in a university/teaching institution. A postgraduate degree is desirable.

Assistant Controller of Examinations (Level 11)

  • Holding analogous posts on a regular basis, OR at least 5 years of regular service in PB-3 with grade pay Rs. 5,400 or higher.

Administrative Officer (Level 10)

  • Holding analogous posts on a regular basis, OR 2-3 years of regular service in grade pay Rs. 4,800 or Rs. 4,600.

Assistant Administrative Officer (Level 7)

  • Holding analogous posts, OR 5 years of regular service in grade pay Rs. 4,200. Degree from a recognised university and computer proficiency required.

Assistant Accounts Officer (Level 7)

  • Holding analogous posts, OR a Junior Accounts Officer with 5 years of regular service in grade pay Rs. 4,200.

Librarian Grade-I (Level 7)

  • Holding analogous posts, OR 3 years of regular service in grade pay Rs. 4,200, plus a Bachelor Degree in Library Science (or B.Sc with a Bachelor/PG Diploma in Library Science) and 5 years of library experience and computer skills.

Age Limit

  • Medical Superintendent: maximum 58 years.
  • All other posts: maximum 56 years.

Salary

  • Level 14 (Medical Superintendent): Rs. 1,44,200 per month (entry pay)
  • Level 13 (Superintending Engineer): Rs. 1,23,100 per month (entry pay)
  • Level 12 (Registrar): Rs. 78,800 per month (entry pay)
  • Level 11 (Assistant Controller of Examinations): Rs. 67,700 per month (entry pay)
  • Level 10 (Administrative Officer): Rs. 56,100 per month (entry pay)
  • Level 7 (AAO, Assistant Accounts Officer, Librarian Grade-I): Rs. 44,900 per month (entry pay)
  • Pay and allowances will be governed by the standard deputation terms of DoPT.

Selection Process

Selection is done as follows:

  1. Application Screening: Applications must be forwarded through proper channel by the Cadre Controlling Authority, with NOC, Vigilance Clearance, and APARs for the last 5 years.
  2. Interview: Eligible candidates are called for an interview and document verification. Original documents must be presented.

The decision of the Competent Authority on selection is final.
