All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri is hiring project staff for the INHIBIT Study in its Department of Clinical Microbiology and Integrated Stewardship Laboratory. The study receives an extramural intermediate grant from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), under the Department of Health Research. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial engagement: The contract runs for up to one year. Extension depends on your performance, the project's needs, available funds and continuation of the sanctioned position.
• Project funding: Funding is initially sanctioned for one year, with extension up to four years subject to the funding agency's approval. An extension is not automatic.
• End of contract: Your engagement ends when the approved tenure expires unless the competent authority formally extends it.
• Cumulative tenure: Project service cannot exceed five years in total, including service across projects with or without a break, under the cited ICMR rules.
• No regular appointment: This contract gives you no claim to a regular job with AIIMS Mangalagiri, ICMR, the Department of Health Research or another government organisation.
• Terms of engagement: You must sign the undertaking prescribed by the institute. Leaving the post and termination of engagement follow the appointment order and applicable rules.
• Work schedule: Sunday, holiday or urgent duties may be needed after suitable induction and training. Paid leave follows applicable ICMR rules.
• Travel and stay: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending selection. Arrange accommodation at your own cost and be ready to stay an extra day if proceedings take longer.
• Recruitment conditions: False or withheld information can cancel your candidature or engagement. Canvassing also leads to disqualification, and recruitment correspondence must use the notified official channel.
• Position changes: Any permitted downgrading or use of equivalent qualifications needs approval under ICMR rules.

• Help participating centres learn and adopt study techniques.
