All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited applications for temporary positions under the ICMR-funded project titled "Integration of plasma and tissue-derived small-extracellular vesicle proteomic signatures with clinical outcomes to identify prognostic biomarkers for neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy response in locally advanced rectal cancer" (Project Code I-1986). Who Can Apply?
For Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical):
- Qualification: You need a Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, in Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences from a recognized university.
- Desirable: 2 years of experience in molecular biology will give you an edge during shortlisting.
For Project Technical Support III:
- Qualification: You need a three-year Graduate degree in Life Science with at least three years of post-qualification experience, OR a Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject or field.
- Desirable: Three years of post-qualification work experience in a related area is preferred.
Age Limit
- Maximum age for both posts: 35 years.
- Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting laboratory experiments related to extracellular vesicle proteomics and cancer biomarker research
- Prepare and process tissue and plasma samples for proteomic analysis
- Handle molecular biology techniques including Western blotting, ELISA, and mass spectrometry sample preparation
- Maintain accurate records of experimental data, protocols, and research findings
- Manage laboratory inventory, chemicals, reagents, and equipment maintenance logs
- Assist the Principal Investigator in compiling research reports and project documentation for ICMR submissions
- Follow all laboratory safety protocols and biosafety guidelines of AIIMS New Delhi
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
PG Degree in Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences (for Scientist); Graduate in Life Science + 3 yrs exp or PG (for Technical Support)
Preferred Qualification
2 years experience in molecular biology (for PRS-I); 3 years post-qualification experience (for PTS-III)
