AIIMS Delhi Project Technical Support-II Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited applications for the temporary post of Project Technical Support-II at the Division of Trauma Laboratory Medicine, Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre (JPNATC). This position is under an ICMR-funded research project titled "Study of Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) Gene Polymorphism and Vitamin D Deficiency in North Indian Patients with Intervertebral Disc Degeneration." Who Can Apply?

You need to meet one of these qualification criteria:

• Option 1: 12th pass (Science stream) with a Diploma in MLT, DMLT, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, along with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Option 2: Graduate degree in a relevant subject with 2 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Qualifications (Project-Specific)

• Experience in clinical sample processing (blood, tissue, stool)
• Hands-on work in DNA/RNA extraction
• Knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques
• Experience with histology or IHC (immunohistochemistry) support
• Familiarity with biobanking and sample documentation
• Lab maintenance experience

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years
• Age relaxation: Available as per ICMR and AIIMS rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)

Salary

• You will receive a salary of Rs. 20,000 per month.
• In addition, you will get House Rent Allowance (HRA) as admissible.
• This is a consolidated pay for a temporary, project-based position.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through a single stage:

1. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Your experience in the relevant field will be evaluated during the selection.
