All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has advertised for a contractual Consultant position under the ICMR-funded project titled "Creation of a Gold Standard Medical Imaging Dataset of Dural-Based Lesions Treated with Primary Gamma Knife Radiosurgery or Microsurgery for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Tools" (Project Code: I-1595). The project runs under the guidance of Dr. Shweta Kedia, Professor, Department of Neurosurgery and Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, CNC AIIMS, New Delhi. The appointment is purely contractual for approximately 10 months, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India. Professionals with medical or science/technology backgrounds who want to contribute to cutting-edge AI-based medical imaging research should apply.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Professionals holding MBBS, M.Sc, or M.Tech degree from a recognised institution
• Minimum 2 years of R&D (Research and Development) experience
• Minimum 2 published research papers in peer-reviewed journals

Preferred Skills (Desirable)

• Experience in monitoring or handling community-oriented cohort projects
• Good scientific writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of computer applications, business intelligence tools, data management, or data synthesis for administrative management of clinical research
• Skill and knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, Python, etc.

• Maximum age: 70 years

Salary

• Monthly salary: Rs. 70,000 per month
• The actual amount may vary depending on experience and knowledge of the selected candidate
• This is an ICMR-funded project position — salary is as per project norms

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on shortlisting of applications followed by an interview:

1. Application Screening: CVs will be reviewed against essential qualifications — MBBS/M.Sc/M.Tech degree, minimum 2 years R&D experience, and at least 2 published research papers
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview at AIIMS, New Delhi

There is no written examination for this post. Selection is merit and interview based.
