AIIMS Bilaspur Lab Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bilaspur (AIIMS Bilaspur) has released a temporary project vacancy under the ANRF Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant. The project title is AI-Enabled Multimodal Risk Stratification of Thyroid Nodules Using Cytology Imaging and a Targeted 6 Gene Mutation Panel. This role is best suited for candidates who can support molecular biology, cytopathology, digital pathology, data handling, and laboratory research work.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Qualification: You need a bachelor's degree in Science from a recognised institute or university.
• Alternative qualification: You can also apply with a three-year diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised institute or university.
• Course mode: Educational, professional, and technical qualifications should be from a recognised board or university and obtained through full-time courses.

Desirable Experience

• Molecular Biology: Experience in DNA/RNA extraction and PCR/qPCR will be useful.
• Pathology Work: Experience in cytopathology techniques and digital pathology is desirable.
• Data and Computer Skills: Data management and computer application experience will help in the project work.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 50 years.
• The notification states the age limit as on the date of interview, and general terms also say age will be checked up to the closing date of application.

Salary

• Selected candidate will get Rs. 27,000 per month.
• HRA: House Rent Allowance will be paid as per ANRF / Government of India norms applicable to AIIMS Bilaspur.
• The appointment is project-based and co-terminus with the ANRF research project.

Selection Process

AIIMS Bilaspur will first check the submitted applications and then call shortlisted candidates for the next stage. The selection may include a written test, a personal interview, or both.

2. Written Test / Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called, and the date, time, and venue will be shared by email or uploaded on the institute website.
