AIIMS Bhubaneswar Project Technical Support II Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar (AIIMS Bhubaneswar) is recruiting a Project Technical Support-II for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project in its Department of Biochemistry. Led by Dr. Balamurugan Ramadass, the project studies tuberculosis-related undernutrition and treatment response through changes to gut microbiota. Your appointment would be a temporary project contract linked to this research.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The contract runs for 11 months. An extension depends on your performance, the project's needs and approval from the funding agency and competent authority.
• Project appointment: The contract gives you no claim to a regular AIIMS or government position. It also creates no right to a later assignment, transfer to another project or absorption by the funding agency.
• Benefits: Provident Fund, pension, Leave Travel Concession and medical-claim benefits do not apply. You must give an undertaking accepting these terms when you join.
• Leaving the role: Either side may end the engagement with one month's notice. AIIMS may end it earlier by paying the equivalent contractual amount, but you cannot replace your own notice period with payment.
• Leave: Leave follows the funding agency's or institute's policy for contract staff. Check these terms when considering whether the appointment suits you.
• Recruitment decisions: AIIMS may change or cancel the recruitment. The Director's decision is final, and canvassing can disqualify your application.
