AIIMS Bhubaneswar Project Technical Support I Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar (AIIMS Bhubaneswar) is recruiting Project Technical Support-I staff for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded NECCTAR Trial. Based in the Department of Biochemistry under Dr. Balamurugan Ramadass, this project examines whether improved take-home foods combined with behaviour-change support can improve children's nutrition. The study covers selected districts across six states, and the advertised engagement is a temporary project contract.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: Your initial appointment is for 11 months. Further service depends on project needs, satisfactory performance and approval from the funding agency and competent authority.
• No regular appointment: This engagement does not give you a claim to a permanent role at AIIMS, the funding agency or a government department. It also gives no right to transfer to another project or receive a further assignment.
• Benefit exclusions: Provident Fund, pension, Leave Travel Concession and medical-claim benefits are unavailable under this contract. You must accept these conditions through an undertaking at joining.
• Notice period: Either side may end the contract with one month's notice. The institute may end it earlier by paying the equivalent contractual amount; you must serve your own notice period and cannot replace it with payment.
• Leave policy: Leave is governed by the funding agency's or institute's rules for AIIMS contract staff. Your appointment remains subject to those project-service conditions.
• Institute's decision: AIIMS may amend or cancel the recruitment. The Director's decision is final, and canvassing can lead to disqualification.
