ACTREC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), a grant-in-aid institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. ACTREC/ADVT.107/2026. The post is for the Department of Hematopathology at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. This is a leave substitute role for candidates with laboratory training and hands-on Hematopathology experience.

The appointment is initially for six months. If you want to attend in person, you can report at the ACTREC venue during the given time. If you want a Zoom interview, you must email the request and documents by 5 June 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Who Can Apply?

Option 1: Biological Sciences Background

• Qualification: B.Sc in Biological Sciences, including Biotechnology, with 50% marks.
• Additional training: Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a recognised institute.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience in a busy Hematopathology Laboratory.

Option 2: B.Sc MLT Background

• Qualification: B.Sc (MLT) with 50% marks.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a busy Hematopathology Laboratory.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 30 years as on the advertisement date.
• The advertisement date is 2 June 2026.

Salary

• The consolidated salary is Rs. 35,400 per month.
• The role is initially for six months.

Selection Process

Selection is through a walk-in or Zoom interview after document checking.
