About This Job

Apply for 1 Project Manager post at ACTREC. MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS with PG Diploma in Clinical Research. Salary: Rs 45,000. Walk-in: 2 Nov 2026.

ACTREC Project Manager Recruitment 2026: Overview

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, is hiring a Project Manager for its Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE) at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. This is a project-based engagement, not a regular post, and selection happens through a single walk-in interview.

The role suits a medical or dental graduate who has moved into clinical research. You need an MBBS, BAMS, BHMS or BDS degree backed by a PG Diploma in Clinical Research (or an equivalent qualification) and hands-on clinical research experience. The CCE runs population-level cancer studies, so the notice gives weight to people who have already worked on public health projects and non-communicable disease (NCD) programmes.

A Master's in Public Health (MPH) is listed as a plus, and so is the ability to read and draft official letters in Marathi — useful because much of the centre's field and government liaison work happens in Maharashtra.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Tenure: The engagement is initially for 6 months or until the project continues, whichever is earlier. There is no promise of extension or regular absorption.
  • Experience is mandatory: The three years of clinical research experience is an essential condition, not a preference — candidates without it should not attend.
  • Place of work: You will be based at the Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
  • Desirable extras: An MPH degree and Marathi drafting skills can help you stand out at the interview, but they are not compulsory.

Application Submission Notes

There is no online form and no postal application. Walk in directly to Room No. 205, 2nd Floor, Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, ACTREC, Sector 22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai - 410 210.

Reporting is open only between 10.00 am and 11.00 am on the interview day, so plan your travel to Kharghar early. Carry your bio-data and all original certificates along with one set of photocopies.
