ACCF Bio Medical Engineer Recruitment 2026: Overview

Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) is hiring Bio Medical Engineers for the cancer centres it runs at Lakhimpur and Silchar. The foundation is a joint partnership between the Government of Assam and Tata Trusts, set up in December 2017 to build a three-level cancer grid so that people in Assam get diagnosis and treatment close to home rather than travelling to Guwahati or out of the state.

Cancer treatment runs on machines, and this is the post that keeps them alive. Radiotherapy units, imaging systems, operation theatre equipment, monitors, ventilators and infusion pumps all sit under the biomedical desk, and at a district centre there is no second engineer to hand a problem to.
