Who Can Apply?
For Medical Physicist cum Radiation Safety Officer:
- Qualification: A PG Degree in Physics with a Post Graduate Diploma in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized university, with a minimum 12-month internship in a Radiotherapy Centre/Institute.
- OR: A basic Science degree with Physics as a main subject, plus a PG degree in Radiological/Medical Physics with a minimum 12-month internship in a Radiotherapy Centre/Institute.
- Additional requirement: You must hold a certificate from the competent authority to function as a Radiological Safety Officer (RSO) in Radiotherapy.
- Experience: You need at least 2 years of working experience as a Medical Physicist/RSO in a radiotherapy centre or institute.
For Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT):
- Qualification: 10+2 with Science subjects, plus a 2-year Radiation Therapy Technologist course (or equivalent) with in-field training, and 2 years of post-qualification experience in a radiotherapy centre/institute.
- OR: A B.Sc degree in Radiation Therapy Technology, plus 1 year of experience in a radiotherapy centre/institute after getting the qualification.
You must meet all eligibility conditions as on the date of interview. Your admission to the recruitment process is purely provisional and depends on satisfying these conditions — the department's decision on eligibility is final, and incomplete forms received after the due date will not be accepted.
Age Limit
- You should not be more than 42 years old as on the date of interview.
- Age Relaxation: SC and BC candidates get a relaxation of 5 years, but this is restricted to candidates with Haryana domicile only.
- You should also have knowledge of Hindi.
- Only your birth certificate, Matriculation certificate, or an equivalent academic certificate will be accepted as proof of age.
Selection Process
There is no written exam for these posts. You are selected directly through a walk-in interview and merit scoring:
- Document Verification: Bring your original certificates along with two passport-size photographs and attested copies of your educational and experience certificates for verification at the interview.
- Interview and Merit Scoring: You are scored on your qualification and experience — you get extra marks for every completed year of experience beyond the minimum requirement, up to a maximum of 10 marks.
Note: No TA/DA (travel allowance) will be given for appearing in the interview, and the department reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

- Monitor radiation safety and compliance across the radiotherapy unit at ACCC Ambala

- Operate radiotherapy machines and administer treatment sessions to patients
- Maintain patient radiation exposure records and safety documentation
- Check equipment regularly for radiation leaks and enforce safety protocols
- Support quality assurance checks on radiotherapy machines
- Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure smooth patient care during radiotherapy sessions
