Acharyashree Bhikshu Government Hospital (ABGH), Moti Nagar, New Delhi is hiring 5 Junior Residents on an adhoc basis. Acharyashree Bhikshu Government Hospital (ABGH), Moti Nagar, under the Department of Health, Government of NCT of Delhi, has released a walk-in interview notification for 5 Junior Resident posts on adhoc basis. Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You must have an MBBS degree from a recognized university and must have completed your internship on or before 2 June 2026.
- DMC Registration: You must hold a valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration certificate. A DMC acknowledgement slip is also accepted, but the actual certificate must be produced at the time of joining.
- Internship cut-off: If you completed your internship earlier than 2 years before 2 June 2026, you are not eligible.
- Previous JR experience: You must not have already completed one year of Junior Residency (regular or adhoc) at any recognized institution.
- NOC: If you are currently working anywhere on regular basis, you must produce an NOC from your present employer.
Age Limit
- Maximum age on the date of interview: 30 years for General candidates
- Maximum age: 35 years for SC/ST candidates
- Maximum age: 33 years for OBC candidates
Salary
- Pay Level: Level 10 of the 7th CPC
- Pay range: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month
- You will also get all allowances admissible under the rules
- Tenure: Maximum 1 year, including any earlier service as Junior Resident on adhoc/regular basis at any recognized institution

Selection Process
Selection is in two stages:
- Written Test (MCQ-based): Held on 4 June 2026 (Thursday). Reporting time is 09:00 AM to 09:45 AM. Carry a blue or black ball pen and a writing pad.
- Interview: Only shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called. Date and time will be announced after the written examination.

Responsibilities
- Provide round-the-clock patient care in assigned wards, OPDs, and emergency units
- Assist senior doctors and consultants during ward rounds, procedures, and surgeries
- Maintain accurate medical records, case sheets, and discharge summaries
- Handle emergency calls and casualty duties as per the duty roster
- Counsel patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control rules, and medical ethics
- Participate in academic activities like case presentations, journal clubs, and clinical meetings
