• M.Tech/M.Sc in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing & GIS, or Geomatics (with Physics & Maths at the 12th level)
• Desirable: Knowledge of Remote Sensing/GIS software, programming in Python/MATLAB/C++, and experience with satellite data and field instruments

Senior Research Fellow - Agricultural Research Station, Sardar Sarovar Command (Rs. 37,000-42,000 + HRA)

• M.Sc (Agri) in Agronomy or Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry

Research Fellow - Bio-Efficacy Phytotoxicity Project (Rs. 20,000-25,000, fixed)

• B.Sc (Hons) Agri or pursuing M.Sc (Agri) in Plant Pathology - Rs. 20,000/month
• M.Sc (Agri) in Plant Pathology or pursuing Ph.D. in Plant Pathology - Rs. 25,000/month

Project Assistant - Micronutrient Research Centre (Rs. 15,000, fixed)

• Pursuing or completed M.Sc (Agri) in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, or Agronomy

Research Fellow - Bidi Tobacco Research Station (Rs. 16,000, fixed)

• Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture

Senior Project Associate - NCS-TCP, Agricultural Biotechnology (Rs. 42,000 + 9% HRA)

• Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Biotechnology, Plant Pathology, or Agricultural Microbiology
• OR M.Sc in the same fields with 4 years of research experience in plant science

Project Associate-I - Genetic Diversity Study on Oryza coarctata (Rs. 30,000-37,000 + HRA)

• M.Sc (Agri) in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, or Genetics and Plant Breeding
• OR M.Sc in Biotechnology

Age Limit

• Junior Research Fellow & Senior Research Fellow posts: Maximum 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.
• Research Fellow (Bio-Efficacy, Bidi Tobacco) & Project Assistant posts: Maximum 35 years.
• Senior Project Associate: Maximum 40 years.
• Project Associate-I: Maximum 50 years.

Salary

• Junior Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month for the 1st and 2nd year, rising to Rs. 42,000 + HRA from the 3rd year onwards (as SRF, per GoI norms).
• Research Fellow (Bio-Efficacy Phytotoxicity): Rs. 20,000 or Rs. 25,000 fixed per month depending on qualification.
• Project Assistant: Rs. 15,000 fixed per month.
• Research Fellow (Bidi Tobacco): Rs. 16,000 fixed per month.
• Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000 + 9% HRA per month.
• Project Associate-I: Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month (selected through NET/GATE or a national-level exam) or Rs. 30,000 + HRA per month (others).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for any of these posts. You will be selected directly through document scrutiny and a walk-in interview.

1. Document Scrutiny: Bring your original certificates for educational qualification, work experience, and proof of age for verification.
2. Walk-in Interview: Held on 14 July 2026 at 9:00 AM at Yagyavalkya Hall, Directorate of Research, AAU, Anand.

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience and expertise in the project area. These are purely contractual positions — AAU is not bound to offer employment after the specified duration and can terminate the engagement without notice.
