AAI has released Advertisement No. 07/2026/CHQ/CN for Junior Consultant engagement in the SIU Directorate at Corporate Headquarters, Delhi. The posts are linked to airport PPP transactions, project development, appraisal and implementation. This is a contract role for one year, suitable for professionals who have worked on infrastructure, finance, PPP or government-linked project assignments.

Role focus: These Junior Consultant posts support AAI's work on upcoming airport public-private partnership transactions. The Engineering consultant will provide technical and strategic assistance, while the Finance consultant will support financial and strategic work linked to project development, appraisal and implementation.

Who Can Apply?

Junior Consultant (Engineering)

• Qualification: Full-time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil or Electrical.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering infrastructure works.
• Preferred exposure: Experience with government agencies or multilateral institutions on PPP transactions is preferred.

Junior Consultant (Finance)

• Qualification: B.Com with ICWA, CA or full-time regular 2-year MBA with specialization in Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred exposure: Experience with government agencies or multilateral institutions on PPP transactions is preferred.

Cut-off condition: The prescribed qualification and experience should be acquired on or before 28 June 2026. Only Indian nationals can apply for these posts.

Experience fit: The Engineering post is best suited for professionals who have worked on engineering infrastructure assignments, especially airport, transport, public infrastructure or PPP-linked work. The Finance post is best suited for professionals who can support financial appraisal, transaction documentation and project implementation work for PPP airport initiatives.

Age Limit

• Junior Consultant (Engineering): Maximum age is 35 years.
• Junior Consultant (Finance): Maximum age is 35 years.
• Cut-off date: Age will be counted as on 28 June 2026.

Posting place: The engagement is for AAI Corporate Headquarters at Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi. The selected consultants should be ready to work closely with the SIU Directorate on airport PPP initiatives and related project records.

Salary

• Junior Consultant (Engineering): Rs. 1,00,000 per month, all inclusive.
• Junior Consultant (Finance): Rs. 1,00,000 per month, all inclusive.
• Leave: Consultants get leave at 1.5 days for each completed month of service. Unused leave cannot be carried forward or encashed.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or selection process.

Contract condition: The appointment is purely contractual for an initial period of one year. The notice also says AAI may cancel, modify, withdraw or postpone the engagement process if required.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

AAI will select candidates based on academic qualification, relevant experience, document verification and interview. The notice does not mention a written examination.

1. Preliminary Shortlisting: AAI will shortlist candidates based on the documents uploaded with the online form.
2. Document Verification: You need to produce original documents for qualification, experience, age and other claims when called.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview or selection process through email.
