Who Can Apply?

For Fire Safety Officer (Rs. 35,000/month):

• Station Officer Course from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur (or an equivalent course from a recognised institution) with a minimum 2 months' experience in firefighting/fire safety service, OR
• Sub Fire Officer Course from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur (or equivalent) with a minimum 4 months' experience in firefighting/fire safety service, OR
• A retired or resigned officer/employee from a government institution, body, or state fire service with a minimum 2 years' experience in firefighting/fire safety service.

For Support Staff - Fire Safety Worker (Rs. 21,700/month):

• Qualification: Minimum 10th pass or an equivalent exam.
• A minimum 4-week certificate course in Firefighting and Fire Protection from a National/State Government institution, OR
• 2 years of continuous service as a registered Fire Warden/Fire Volunteer, with a certificate from the district's in-charge Fire Officer, OR
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Fireman or higher post in any state fire service.

• Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen (male or female) who has completed 18 years of age and is physically and mentally fit.

Age Limit

• You should have completed 18 years of age to apply. No upper age limit is mentioned in the notification.

Salary

• Fire Safety Officer: Fixed honorarium of Rs. 35,000 per month.
• Support Staff (Fire Safety): Fixed honorarium of Rs. 21,700 per month.
