IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Panipat Refinery
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited online applications for 637 Apprentice posts at its Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex in Haryana. This is a great chance for freshers with Class 12, ITI, Diploma, or Graduation to get training at one of India's top public sector companies.

Stipend (Monthly)
As per Apprenticeship Amendment Rules 2025:
- Class 12 pass: Rs. 9,600/month
- ITI holders: Rs. 8,200/month
- Diploma holders: Rs. 10,900/month
- Graduate holders: Rs. 12,300/month
Who Can Apply?
- Age: 18 to 24 years (as on 31 January 2026)
- Age relaxation: SC +5 years, OBC +3 years, PwBD +10 years
- Minimum marks: 50% aggregate in the required qualification (45% for SC/PwBD)
- Experience: Only freshers can apply. Candidates with 1+ year of experience are not eligible.
- Courses: Only regular full-time courses are accepted.
- Not eligible: Candidates with B.E./B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, or MCA degrees cannot apply.
- Previous apprenticeship: You must not have completed apprenticeship training in the same trade earlier.
Selection Process
There is no written exam and no interview. Selection is based on merit - your percentage in the required qualification. First-time apprentices will get preference.

- Pre-engagement medical fitness test
How to Apply
The application is a two-step online process. You must complete both steps:
- Step 1: Register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) for Trade Apprentice posts, or on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) for Technician Apprentice posts.
- Step 2: Fill the Google Form at https://forms.gle/yYXqu3R42BVV9bW7A. This step is mandatory.
Application Fee: NIL (No fee)
Training Details
- Training period: 12 to 15 months
- Location: Panipat, Haryana (8 Secretarial Assistant posts in New Delhi)
- Safety shoes and helmet will be provided for technical posts (returnable after training)
- Accident insurance coverage is provided during training

Important Notes
- Reservation follows Haryana state rules. There is no ST reservation.
- You must complete both Step 1 (NAPS/NATS registration) and Step 2 (Google Form) to be considered.
- Only candidates who pass the medical fitness test will be engaged.

- Undergo apprenticeship training at IOCL Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex for 12-15 months
- Learn and practise trade-specific skills under the guidance of experienced professionals
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines at the refinery and plant premises
- Attend all training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job learning activities
- Maintain records and reports as needed during the training period
- Use safety equipment (helmet, safety shoes) provided during technical training
- Complete assessments and evaluations as part of the apprenticeship programme
