Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of appointment: the role is purely temporary. It will not be regularised or absorbed into another ASU job or programme.
• Recognised qualifications: every degree and credential must come from a recognised board, university or institution; an unrecognised qualification will not be accepted.
• Existing employment: applicants who currently work elsewhere must produce a valid No Objection Certificate.
• Vacancy status: ASU may increase, reduce or alter the indicated requirement, or cancel, withdraw or reschedule the recruitment process.
• Attendance cost: the university does not provide TA or DA for the interview.
• Health condition: a selected applicant must be in sound health and may need a medical examination under university rules.
• Allowances: the lecture-based payment does not include any additional allowances.
• Conduct: canvassing leads to disqualification, and the competent authority's decision on eligibility, selection and interview conduct is final.
• Updates: check the ASU website for any corrigendum or addendum before travelling because individual updates may not be sent.
