Assam Skill University (ASU) is engaging Guest Faculty for its Applied Management and Basic Science and Humanities departments at Mangaldai. This is a short teaching engagement designed to support the university's current academic delivery rather than create a regular faculty appointment. Posts and Disciplines

• Human Resource Management: management teaching for programmes that need coverage in talent acquisition, training, performance, labour relations and organisational behaviour.
• Mathematics: quantitative and mathematical teaching within the Basic Science department, with the role focused on supporting the university's academic timetable.
• English: language teaching with an emphasis on ELT, linguistics or language technology; the university gives preference to someone who can also teach Indian Knowledge System content.

Post-wise Duties

Human Resource Management Guest Faculty

You will teach HR-focused management subjects, guide classroom discussion and connect theory with workplace practice. Your subject coverage may include recruitment, employee development, performance systems and industrial relations.

Mathematics Guest Faculty

You will deliver Mathematics classes, explain concepts clearly and support learners with problem-solving practice. The work calls for organised lesson delivery suited to skill-based university programmes.

English Guest Faculty

You will teach English language and ELT-related content, help students develop communication skills and draw on linguistics or language-technology knowledge where relevant. Ability to handle Indian Knowledge System teaching is an added advantage.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement is for five months and is purely temporary.
• No absorption: The engagement does not create a right to regular appointment or future absorption at ASU.
• Vacancy status: The university may increase, reduce or change the indicated positions, or cancel or reschedule the process.
• Current employment: Anyone already employed must bring a No Objection Certificate from the employer.
• Travel: ASU will not pay TA or DA for attending the walk-in.
• Health: A selected person may need to complete a medical examination under university rules.

The walk-in is at the Guest House, Assam Skill University Campus, Mangaldai. Reporting is subject-specific: English begins at 09.00 A.M., Human Resource Management at 11.00 A.M. and Mathematics at 01.00 P.M.; late entry is not allowed.
