OUAT Guest Faculty Fisheries Recruitment 2026

OUAT Guest Faculty Fisheries Recruitment 2026: Overview

Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) is engaging Guest Faculty for its College of Fisheries at Rangailunda, Berhampur. The drive brings together fisheries subjects and English within the same college through a walk-in recruitment. These are guest teaching engagements for the academic session, and the university has also issued a subject-specific amendment for English.

Posts and Disciplines

• Aquaculture: Guest faculty engagement in this subject at the College of Fisheries.
• Aquatic Animal Health Management: A separate subject opening in the same college.
• Fish Processing Technology: Guest teaching engagement within the fisheries subject group.
• Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics: The notice groups these areas under a single subject entry.
• English: A guest faculty engagement with separate payment terms under the later corrigendum.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Academic session: The engagement is for 2026-27. OUAT may end the assignment before the academic year finishes.
• Appointment status: Guest faculty service does not give you a claim to a regular appointment at OUAT. Keep this condition in mind when considering the engagement.
• Leaving the assignment: If you choose to leave, you must give one month of advance notice before disengagement.
• Panel validity: The empanelment remains valid for one year. The college may change its staffing requirements according to need and approval from the competent authority.
• Recruitment changes: The college can cancel the interview process. If it cannot hold the scheduled walk-in, it will announce the replacement arrangement on the OUAT website.
• Travel: You will not receive TA/DA for attending the interview. Plan your travel to Berhampur with this condition in mind.
• Updates: Check the university website before travelling. The notice says a change to the scheduled walk-in will be posted in the afternoon of the preceding working day.

The walk-in venue is the Office of the Dean, College of Fisheries, OUAT, Rangailunda, Berhampur 760007, Odisha. The interview starts at 10:00 AM, and you must report at the venue by 10:30 AM. This is an in-person recruitment, so the notification does not provide an online application form.
