Who Can Apply?

For AGM/JGM Safety Operations and Maintenance

• Qualification: You need a B.E./B.Tech degree in any discipline, preferably Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or another relevant field.
• IDA experience route: AGM level needs 17 years post-qualification experience, including 12 years in executive pay scales. JGM level needs 14 years post-qualification experience, including 10 years in executive pay scales.
• Preferred experience: Operations roles prefer experience in OCC, station, train operations, safety rules, incident investigation, and disaster management. Maintenance roles prefer RRTS or metro safety maintenance experience.

For Assistant Manager Safety Posts

• Civil and Track: You need B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Electrical: You need B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics.
• Signalling and Telecom: You need B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Electronics, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Rolling Stock: You need B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Electronics, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Operations: You need B.E./B.Tech in any discipline, preferably Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a relevant field.
• Experience: Assistant Manager posts need the stated pay-scale route or 4 years post-qualification experience, with relevant metro or RRTS experience preferred.

Age Limit

• AGM/JGM posts: Maximum age is 52 years.
• Assistant Manager posts: Maximum age is 45 years.
• Reference date: Experience and other eligibility conditions will be counted as on 31 May 2026.

Salary

• E-7 grade: Rs. 1,00,000 to 2,60,000 per month under IDA pattern, with approximate CTC of Rs. 46.00 lakh per year.
• E-6 grade: Rs. 90,000 to 2,40,000 per month under IDA pattern, with approximate CTC of Rs. 42.00 lakh per year.
• E-2 grade: Rs. 50,000 to 1,60,000 per month under IDA pattern, with approximate CTC of Rs. 24.00 lakh per year.
• Other benefits: Pay and benefits will follow NHSRCL rules for the selected grade.

Selection Process

The selection process may include 3 main stages. NHSRCL has also stated that management can add or remove a selection method as needed.

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): The syllabus has 70% domain knowledge and 30% General Awareness, English, and Reasoning.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview based on NHSRCL rules.
3. Medical Examination: Final appointment depends on medical fitness under the Executive/Technical medical standard.
