Who Can Apply?

Peons, Watchman, Sweepers and Peons (House Keeping)

• Education: Tenth Standard Pass (SSLC) or equivalent examination.

Lift Attender

• Education: Tenth Standard Pass or equivalent.
• Experience: Hands-on experience in Lift Mechanism.

Assistant Binder

• Education: Tenth Standard Pass or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years of binding work experience.

Tailor

• Education: Tenth Standard Pass or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 3 years of tailoring work experience.

Dhobi

• Education: Tenth Standard Pass or equivalent.
• Experience: Should have worked as a Dhobi.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Maximum age (General Merit): 40 years.
• Maximum age (Category II A/II B/III A/III B - OBC): 43 years.
• Maximum age (SC / ST / Category-I): 45 years.
• One-time age relaxation: An additional 5 years is given as per Notification No. DPAR 262 SRR 2025 dated 29 January 2026.

Salary

• Peon, Watchman, Sweeper, House Keeping, Assistant Binder, Dhobi: Pay Level 2, scale Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month.
• Lift Attender, Tailor: Pay Level 3, scale Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month.
• You also get standard government allowances — DA, HRA, and medical benefits.
• You will be on probation for 2 years after appointment.

• OBC (Cat II-A / II-B / III-A / III-B): Rs. 200
• SC / ST / Category-I / Persons with Benchmark Disability: Rs. 100

Selection Process

1. Merit list preparation: Eligible candidates are shortlisted in the order of merit based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying SSLC examination.
2. Interview shortlisting: The number of candidates called for interview will be 10 times the total vacancies notified.
3. Interview: The maximum marks for the interview are 10 marks. Final selection is based on combined merit.
4. Document verification: Original certificates including SSLC, caste, experience, and reservation proofs are checked.

• Keep court premises and offices clean and well-maintained as per the assigned duty.
• Operate and assist with lift mechanisms (Lift Attender) safely during court working hours.
• Carry out book binding and document binding work for the court library and registry (Assistant Binder).
• Stitch and repair court uniforms and official cloth items as required (Tailor).
• Wash, clean, and press court linen and uniforms (Dhobi).
• Follow instructions of supervising officers and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of court documents and follow the High Court Service Rules.
