About This Job

IIM Udaipur is hiring 1 Deputy Lead - Program Support for the EQUIP-HWCs implementation research project, funded by ICMR and Gates Foundation, based in Salumber district, Rajasthan. IIM Udaipur Deputy Lead Program Support Recruitment 2026

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur), through its Centre for Healthcare, is recruiting for the EQUIP-HWCs (Equitable, Quality Universal health coverage Implementation research Project for optimizing comprehensive primary health care through Health and Wellness Centres) project. This is a national health priority project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Gates Foundation, run in collaboration with Basic Healthcare Services and the Salumber district health department. The post is field-based and focused on strengthening Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) to deliver 12 comprehensive primary healthcare services. Public health professionals with experience in tribal area implementation research are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute project activities as per the EQUIP-HWCs project plan and intervention design
  • Develop monthly plans for the field teams to ensure smooth implementation
  • Collaborate with internal teams, community leaders, public health officials and Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) staff
  • Facilitate focus group discussions, stakeholder meetings, training sessions and community outreach activities
  • Provide guidance, mentorship and supportive supervision to the Technical Officers
  • Monitor baseline and endline data collection across all six blocks of Salumber district
  • Prepare regular reports for the Lead-Program Support, Investigators and district health officials
  • Maintain records of program activities, attendance, reports and resources

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Master's in Public Health (MPH) or Master's in Healthcare Management

Preferred Qualification

Experience in intervention/implementation research/health systems research in tribal areas; prior people management experience
