All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Vijaypur, Jammu has notified 29 technical posts for hospital departments such as cath lab, CSSD, ECG, medical lab, operation theatre, ophthalmology, perfusion, radiotherapy, and radiography. These posts are purely contractual up to 31 October 2026 or until the regular sanctioned posts are filled, whichever is earlier. Hospital Technical Posts

• Cath Lab Technician: B.Sc. in Cardiac Technology, or a 2-year Cath Lab diploma with 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• CSSD Technician: B.Sc. Microbiology or Medical Technology with 3 years CSSD experience in a 200-bedded hospital, or Staff Nurse A Grade registration with 2 years CSSD experience, or Theatre Assistant course with 4 years CSSD experience.
• Echo-Cardio Graphic Technician: B.Sc. in Cardiac Laboratory Technology with 1 year experience, or a master's degree in the relevant subject.
• ECG Technician: 10+2 Science plus a 2-year ECG Technician diploma from a recognised institute.
• Medical Lab Technician: 10+2 Science plus Diploma in Medical Lab Technology. B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology is desirable.

OT, Eye, Perfusion, and Imaging Posts

• Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technician: B.Sc. in Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, OT Technology, or Anaesthesia Technology.
• Ophthalmic Technician Grade-I: B.Sc. in Optometry, Ophthalmic Techniques, or equivalent qualification.
• Perfusionist: B.Sc. plus certificate in Perfusion Technology with at least 1 year clinical perfusion experience.
• Radiotherapy/Radiology posts: B.Sc. Hons in the relevant field, or diploma with 2 years experience. Computer knowledge in office applications is desirable for these posts.

Important eligibility note: AIIMS Jammu will count only the qualification and experience available on or before 25 June 2026. If your degree is from a foreign university or medical college, you should keep an equivalence certificate ready from the relevant authority. The notification also says you should check your own post-wise eligibility before submitting the form because wrong or unsupported information can lead to cancellation later.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years.
• The age and eligibility cut-off date is the last date of online application, 25 June 2026.
• Only experience gained after the required degree or diploma will be counted.

Salary

• Fixed salary: Rs. 51,684 per month.
• This is a contract engagement, so benefits such as PF, NPS, gratuity, regular medical attendance, seniority, and promotion are not available like regular government service.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on an applied test and/or interview for 100 marks.

1. Applied Test / Interview: AIIMS Jammu will notify the exact date separately.
2. Document Verification: Original documents will be checked for qualification, age, experience, registration, and identity.
3. Final Merit: If two candidates get the same marks at the cut-off, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
