The Medical Superintendent, Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital Bikaner has announced a walk-in interview to fill 15 doctor vacancies across Specialist, Senior Resident, and Junior Resident posts. The Specialists will work full-time on contract for one year extendable up to three years. No written exam — the entire selection is through walk-in interview on a single day. Doctors with PG qualifications, registered MBBS, or DNB can show up directly with documents.

Who Can Apply?

For Specialists (Rs. 1,21,408/month)

• You need a PG Degree or equivalent with 3 years post-PG experience, OR a PG Diploma with 5 years post-PG experience in the relevant specialty.
• You must have a valid registration with MCI / State Medical Council.

For Senior Resident (3-year contract)

• You need a PG Degree / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
• Valid MCI / State Medical Council registration is required.

For Senior / Junior Resident (44 days)

• Candidates with PG Degree / Diploma / DNB will be preferred.
• If PG-qualified doctors are not available, MBBS with experience in any discipline will be considered.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in ESIC and know the Dhanwantri online module.

Age Limit

• Senior Resident: Upper age limit is 45 years as on the date of interview.
• Specialists: Age should not exceed 67 years as on the date of interview.
• Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates as per Government of India rules.
• Cut-off date for age and qualifications is the date of interview (26 May 2026).

Salary

• Specialists: Rs. 1,21,408 per month (consolidated remuneration).
• Senior Resident (3-year engagement): Pay as per 7th CPC Level 11.
• Senior / Junior Resident (44 days): Rs. 1,21,048 per month consolidated; pro-rata for the remaining period.
• Specialists get 2.5 earned leaves per month on pro-rata basis plus Sunday off every week.

Application Fee

• No application fee is mentioned in the notification.
• Selected Specialists and 3-year Senior Residents must submit a security deposit of Rs. 25,000 as Demand Draft in favour of 'ESI Fund Account No. 1' payable at Bikaner (refundable after contract completion).
• Selected 44-day Senior / Junior Residents must submit a security deposit of Rs. 15,000 as DD in favour of 'ESI Fund Account No. 1' payable at Bikaner.

Selection Process

Selection is through a single-day walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Report between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 26 May 2026. No candidate reporting after 11 AM will be considered.
2. Walk-in Interview: Conducted at the Conference Hall, ESIC Hospital, Jaisalmer Road, Bikaner.
3. Minimum 50% marks in the interview is compulsory for selection.
4. Medical Fitness Certificate from a competent authority required before joining.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.

How to Apply

2. Fill in the application completely and attach two recent passport-size photographs.
3. Carry one set of self-attested photocopies along with originals of all certificates for verification.
4. Report to Conference Hall, ESIC Hospital, Jaisalmer Road, Bikaner, Rajasthan - 334001 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 26 May 2026.
5. Bring documents: Date of Birth proof, Matriculation certificate, MBBS marksheet and degree, PG Degree/Diploma, Caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar, PAN, Experience certificate, MCI/RMC registration copy, and NOC from present employer (if in service).

• Examine and treat patients in the assigned department of ESIC Hospital Bikaner
• Attend emergency duties and call duties as assigned by the Medical Superintendent
• Perform floor duty in the emergency department or IPD as instructed
• Maintain proper patient records using the Dhanwantri online module
• Assist senior doctors during rounds, surgeries, and procedures
• Work on Sundays and gazetted holidays when emergencies require attendance
• Follow ESIC hospital protocols, ethics, and government service rules
• Examine all kinds of patients beyond own speciality when directed
