Employees' State Insurance Corporation Medical College and Hospital Andheri has released Advertisement No. 10/2026 for contract engagement of Senior Residents and Tutor/Demonstrators. The engagement is for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on satisfactory performance or until a regular incumbent joins. Who Can Apply?

Senior Resident

• Qualification: You need a PG medical qualification such as MD, MS, or DNB in the relevant department.
• Non-clinical subjects: A medical science M.Sc with Ph.D in subjects such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology or Microbiology may be considered as per NMC rules.
• Registration: You should have updated NMC or State Medical Council registration for post-MBBS and PG qualifications.
• Existing government service: If you are working in a Government, autonomous or statutory institution, carry NOC or proof that you have applied for NOC.
• Practice rule: After joining, private practice is not allowed in any capacity.

Tutor / Demonstrator

• Qualification: You need MBBS from a recognised medical institution with NMC or State Medical Council registration.
• Non-clinical option: For pre-clinical or non-clinical departments, M.Sc in a medical subject with Ph.D in the same subject may be considered.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on 12 May 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Reserved categories can get relaxation as per Central Government rules, including generally 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

Salary

• Senior Resident: Approx. Rs. 1,60,045 per month under 7th CPC Pay Level 11, Index 1, including admissible allowances.
• Tutor/Demonstrator: Approx. Rs. 1,35,000 per month under 7th CPC Pay Level 10, Index 1, including admissible allowances.

Application Fee

• UR / OBC: Rs. 300
• SC / ST: Rs. 125
• ESIC regular employees, female applicants, defence ex-servicemen and PH applicants: No fee
• Payment mode: Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund A/c-1, payable at Mumbai.
• The fee is non-refundable, so check your eligibility and department schedule before preparing the Demand Draft.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on academic credentials, document verification and interview performance. There is no written exam mentioned in the notice.

2. Interview: Attend the offline interview before the selection board at ESIC Medical College and Hospital Andheri.
