Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur is a DRDO laboratory under the Ministry of Defence. Who Can Apply?

Course and Academic Status

• Qualification: You must be pursuing or continuing a full-time Graduate or Post Graduate course in the relevant Engineering or Science discipline from a recognised Indian university or institute.
• Engineering students: Final-year B.Tech or M.Tech students can apply in the notified branches.
• Science students: Final-year M.Sc Physics students can apply for the Atmospheric Physics area.
• Academic record: You should have a good academic track record.

College Route and Merit Support

• College request letter: Your Principal or Director should provide the request letter for highly deserving meritorious students.
• Bio-data: Attach a brief bio-data of less than 300 words highlighting your achievements.
• Awards or memberships: Mention any award or professional membership if you have one.

Stipend and Internship Terms

• Monthly stipend: Rs. 5,000 per month
• Internship duration: 6 months from the date of joining.
• Payment schedule: stipend will be paid in 2 installments. The first installment is paid after successful completion of 3 months.
• Attendance condition: You must complete at least 15 working days per month of physical attendance at ITR.
• Payment mode: stipend will be credited directly to the student's bank account.
• No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible. Selected interns can use lunch, tea and snacks facilities at the ITR wet canteen on subsidised rates.
• If you leave before completing 3 months, no stipend will be paid and the completion certificate will not be issued.
