Contractual Instrumentation Technician:

• Qualification: Class 10th from a Government recognized education board, plus a Trade Certificate in Instrument Mechanic trade from a Government recognized institute.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience after your qualification.

Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic:

• Qualification: Class 10th from a Government recognized education board, plus a Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic trade from a Government recognized institute.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience after your qualification.

Only candidates with domicile of Assam or Arunachal Pradesh can apply for any of these 3 posts.

Age Limit

• Contractual Mechanical Supervisor: You should be between 18 and 45 years old as on the date of registration for the Walk-in Assessment.
• Contractual Instrumentation Technician & Assistant Diesel Mechanic: You should be between 18 and 30 years old as on the date of registration.
• PwBD: Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and Ex-Servicemen is applicable as per Government of India guidelines.

Salary

• Contractual Mechanical Supervisor: Fixed emolument of Rs. 24,960 per month plus a variable emolument of Rs. 960 per working day.
• Contractual Instrumentation Technician: Fixed emolument of Rs. 21,450 per month plus a variable emolument of Rs. 825 per working day.
• Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic: Fixed emolument of Rs. 21,450 per month plus a variable emolument of Rs. 825 per working day.
• You will also get statutory Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Gratuity benefits during your contract.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based entirely on a Walk-in Personal Assessment worth 100 marks:

1. Registration: Complete your registration at the venue between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the scheduled date — no late registration is allowed.
2. Walk-in Personal Assessment (100 marks): You will be assessed on Professional Knowledge and Skills in your concerned discipline, Professional Knowledge and Skills in an allied discipline, and Personal Attributes and Soft Skills.
3. Qualifying Marks: You need at least 50 out of 100 marks to qualify — the same cutoff applies to every category.
4. Document Verification: Your original documents are checked at the time of registration itself.
5. Final Merit: Selection is purely on the marks you score in the Personal Assessment, among candidates who clear the qualifying mark.
