IITR Project Associate (Health Economics and Public Finance) Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) is recruiting a Project Associate (Health Economics and Public Finance) for a research project at Roorkee. The post sits within a Gates Foundation-sponsored study of public finance, revenue mobilisation and economic growth, led by Dr. Manish K. Singh in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. Its particular focus is the link between government spending and health services, including how health outcomes and access to public services differ across regions and population groups. You would join the project through a fixed-term research engagement.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project appointment: The engagement is tied to the sponsored research project in the Humanities and Social Sciences department. Keep this project setting in mind when considering whether the role fits your plans.
- Tenure: The initial appointment lasts 12 months, with an extension of up to 12 months mentioned in the notice. Treat the extension as a possibility, rather than an assured longer appointment.
