IARI Project Associate I Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI) is hiring a Project Associate-I for its Division of Plant Physiology in New Delhi. The project, sponsored by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), assesses whether homoeopathic medicines used as biostimulants can improve mung bean yield. This is a contractual research engagement linked to the scheme.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: Your first contract runs for one year or until the project ends, whichever happens earlier. The appointment is temporary and remains tied to the research project.
• Extension: The institute may extend the engagement each year if your performance is satisfactory. An extension is possible only while the scheme continues.
• End of scheme: There is no provision for re-engagement after the scheme finishes. Do not assume that a successful contract or extension creates an appointment beyond the project.
• Accurate information: Your signed declaration confirms that the application is complete and correct. False information can lead to cancellation or termination without notice or compensation.
• Family connections: The form asks you to declare relatives employed at ICAR or IARI. Where this applies, give the person's name, designation, institution, duties and relationship to you.
