VMH Secretary and Curator Recruitment 2026: Overview
Victoria Memorial Hall (VMH), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Culture, is recruiting a Secretary and Curator for its Kolkata institution. The notice gives priority to direct recruitment, with deputation or transfer as alternatives if that route does not fill the post. The appointment combines institutional leadership with the statutory position of Secretary under the VMH Act.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Limited tenure: Direct recruitment carries a maximum tenure of five years, ending sooner if you reach superannuation. Keep this limit in mind when considering the move from your present institution.
