CLRI Project Personnel Recruitment 2026: Overview
CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), a national laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, is recruiting project personnel for its Regional Centre in Kanpur. Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project tenure: The stated engagement runs up to 31 March 2027. CLRI may shorten or extend it, but it ends with the project or when the need for project personnel ends, whichever happens earlier.

- Travel costs: CLRI will not pay a travelling allowance for attending the walk-in interview. You will need to plan your journey to Kanpur accordingly.
- Recruitment changes: The advertised positions are provisional and may change at selection. The Director may amend the terms, cancel the notice or leave positions unfilled.
- Information and conduct: Incorrect or withheld information can lead to cancellation of your candidature. Canvassing or using political influence will lead to disqualification.
- Interpretation: If the Hindi and English versions differ, the English version takes precedence. The Director's decisions on applications and eligibility are final.
Application Submission Notes
Attend at CSIR-CLRI Regional Centre, Near 36, MLD Sewage Treatment Plant, Wazidpur, Jajmau, Kanpur-208010. The interview starts at 11:00 a.m., but entry is not allowed after 10:30 a.m.
Use the prescribed CLRI application form and sign it before attending; other application formats will not be considered. This is an in-person walk-in: do not send your application by post, speed post or courier.

You can receive Rs. 20,000 per month as Project Assistant-II or Rs. 25,000 per month as Project Associate-I. Both posts carry HRA.
The upper age limit is 35 years as on 29 October 2026. You can claim the applicable relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, PwBD and women or 3 years for OBC, subject to government instructions.
